Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026 Linebundle (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Linebundle Studio web platform and the Space consumer mobile app (Android and iOS), together with related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use any of them.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and Profile Information

When you create an account or set up your profile, we collect:
  • Email address — used for authentication, notifications, and account recovery
  • Username — your unique public handle
  • Display name — shown to other users
  • Profile details you choose to add — bio, pronouns, and a profile photo (avatar)
  • Account and profile identifiers — internal user IDs used to operate the service
  • Organization membership — the organizations you create or join, and your role in each

1.2 Usage Data

We automatically collect:
  • Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
  • Device information — operating system, device type, screen resolution
  • Feature usage — which features you interact with and how frequently

1.3 Content You Create

When you use our platform, we store:
  • Events, spaces, materials, and other content you create (including titles, descriptions, and cover images)
  • Messages sent through the chat and messaging features
  • Files and documents you upload
  • Contacts and booking information you manage

1.4 Social and Activity Data

In the Space app we also store your interactions, so the product works:
  • Your social graph — the people you follow and who follow you
  • Event responses — events you RSVP to, and spaces you join
  • In-app activity — actions such as creating, editing, or responding to content

1.5 Authentication Data

We use a self-hosted identity provider (Zitadel) to manage authentication. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, that provider confirms your identity to us; we receive your basic profile (such as email) but never your third-party password. This stores:
  • Login credentials (passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext)
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) enrollment data
  • Session tokens and refresh tokens
  • Organization membership and role assignments

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:
  • Provide and maintain the Linebundle platform and its features
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests
  • Improve our platform through analytics and usage patterns
  • Enforce our terms of service and protect against misuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
  • Organization members — content you create within an organization is visible to other members based on their roles and permissions
  • Service providers (sub-processors) — third-party services that help us operate the platform, bound by data processing agreements, including:
    • Cloudflare — hosting and object storage (R2) for files you upload (event/space covers, documents)
    • Sentry — crash and error diagnostics (device model, OS version, app version, and a stack trace when something fails; no message/content bodies)
    • Google (Gemini API) — see “AI features” below
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or governmental regulation

3.1 AI features

Some features (e.g. turning typed notes into a structured event in the Space app) send the text you enter for that action to Google’s Gemini API to produce a suggestion. This text is processed only to return the result to you and is not used to train models. AI assistance is optional — you can complete the same actions manually without it.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
  • Authentication is handled through our self-hosted identity provider with industry-standard OIDC/OAuth2 protocols
  • We implement role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure users only access data they are authorized to see
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments are conducted

5. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • Content data is retained for as long as the owning organization exists
  • Log data is retained for up to 90 days for operational purposes
  • Deleted data is soft-deleted and permanently purged after 30 days

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your account and associated data — see Account & Data Deletion for how to do this from the Space mobile app, the web, or by email
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for:
  • Authentication — maintaining your login session
  • Preferences — remembering your theme, language, and view settings
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent.

8. Children’s Privacy

Linebundle is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in regions outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any cross-border data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
