Analytics overview endpoint
A new analytics overview endpoint gives you a snapshot of your organization’s activity at a glance. It returns today’s events, upcoming events for the week, recent cross-module activity, and a summary of your spaces — everything you need to power a dashboard home screen. See the analytics SDK reference for details.Developer console
The auth management portal now includes a developer console where you can view your API base URL, manage machine credentials, and create new API tokens — all from a single page. This makes it easier to get started with the API without leaving the browser.Automation API call actions
Automation rules can now call any API endpoint as an action. Configure a method, path, and optional body, and the automation engine handles the rest — including template interpolation so later actions can reference the output of earlier ones (e.g. use a newly created resource ID in a follow-up request). Newevent.archived and milestone.completed triggers are also available for building milestone-based workflows. Learn more in the automation guide.TypeScript SDK stable release
The TypeScript SDK has graduated from release candidates to a stable release. If you were using a1.0.0-rc.x version, update to the latest stable version for continued support. The zitadel_org_id field on organizations has been renamed to external_org_id — update any code that references the old field name.Auth management portal
A new account and organization management portal is now available. You can view your profile, update account settings, manage organization members, send invitations, and configure organization settings — all through a dedicated management interface.Bug fixes
- The
milestone.completedwebhook payload now usesis_highest_sequenceinstead ofis_last, which more accurately describes the field’s behavior. - Creating a duplicate organization now correctly returns a conflict error instead of failing silently.
- Machine identities (service accounts) no longer require an email address to authenticate.
Event cover images
You can now upload a cover image for your events. Upload an image directly through the API or SDK, and it will be stored and associated with your event metadata. Cover images are only accepted for draft events, keeping your published content stable. See the SDK reference for details.Calendar view endpoint
A new calendar endpoint lets you query events that overlap a given date range. Pass a start and end date to get back all matching events — ideal for building calendar views or scheduling dashboards. Learn more in the events SDK reference.Bulk attendee operations
Managing large guest lists just got easier. You can now add, remove, and update the status of multiple attendees in a single request. Bulk operations support the same statuses as individual updates — invited, confirmed, declined, tentative, and checked-in.Attendee check-in
A dedicated check-in endpoint makes it simple to mark attendees as arrived. Call it with an event and contact ID to record check-in without manually patching attendee status.Event document linking
Events now support linked documents. You can attach documents to an event and retrieve or remove them later. This is useful for agendas, slide decks, or any reference material tied to a specific event.Partial updates for events and spaces
Both events and spaces now support PATCH (merge-patch) updates. Instead of sending the full object on every edit, you can send only the fields you want to change. Omitted fields are left untouched. See the events and spaces SDK references.Notifications on publish and manager assignment
When you publish an event or space, or assign a new manager, you can now opt in to sending notifications. Setnotify: true in your request to trigger an email to affected parties. You can also customize the message, choose delivery channels, and set priority. Notifications are off by default.Advanced automation logic
The automation engine now supports boolean logic (AND/OR/NOT), field-level conditions, scheduled enrichment, and per-action branching. This gives you much more flexibility when building automation rules — for example, triggering different actions based on attendee status or event metadata.Add contacts as event attendees in Studio
In the Studio contacts view, you can now add a contact directly as an attendee to any of your events using a new quick action. Instead of entering contact IDs manually, you pick from a searchable event selection table.Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where concurrent cover image uploads could overwrite event metadata.
- Space analytics queries now correctly reference space titles.
- Trailing slashes in API URLs no longer cause routing errors.
- Automation rules with NOT conditions now correctly evaluate all child results.
- Fixed a brief “Sign In” flash that could appear in Studio before authentication loaded.
Personal access token authentication
The API now supports authenticating with Personal Access Tokens (PATs) issued to service users. You can generate a PAT from the auth console and pass it directly to the SDK — no OAuth flow required. PATs inherit the roles assigned to the service user, so you have fine-grained control over what each token can access. See the TypeScript SDK docs for setup instructions.Client credentials (machine-to-machine) auth
For integrations that require automatic token rotation, the API now also supports OAuth2 client credentials tokens. Service users can authenticate with a client ID and secret to receive short-lived access tokens. This is ideal for backend services and CI/CD pipelines where you need hands-off credential management. Both auth methods are documented in the SDK authentication guide.Python SDK release candidate
A Python SDK is now available as part of the v1.0.0 release candidate series (linebundle-sdk on PyPI). It covers the same API surface as the TypeScript SDK — events, spaces, contacts, automation, and more — with full type hints and structured error handling.Expanded automation triggers
The event automation engine now supports a broader set of triggers. You can create rules that fire when attendees join or leave, when managers are assigned, when spaces are linked to events, and when bookings change. Automation permissions are now available to both admin and member roles, so more of your team can set up and manage automation rules.Event–space linking
Events and spaces are now connected. You can link events to one or more spaces (and vice versa), giving you a unified view of what’s happening where. These links persist through the full event lifecycle, including publishing, versioning, and archiving.TypeScript SDK v1.0.0 release candidates
The TypeScript SDK has been rebuilt from the ground up and is now available as a v1.0.0 release candidate. The new SDK features a cleaner API surface, structured{ data, error, response } return types, and full type safety generated directly from the OpenAPI spec. Install it with npm install @linebundle-sdk/ts and check the SDK reference for full method documentation.Bug fixes
- Deleted spaces and events no longer appear in search results or canonical lookups.
- Fixed an issue where creating a new space could fail due to a permissions error.
