Create a space in under a minute

Creating a space is quick. You’ll give it a name, a description, and you’re ready to start filling it with content.
1

Go to Spaces

Click the Spaces icon in the sidebar, or press S twice to jump there.Caption: The Spaces listing page showing existing spaces and the Create Space button
2

Click Create Space

You’ll see a Create Space button at the top of the page. Click it to open the creation form.
3

Name your space

Give your space a name that makes it easy to recognize. Something like “Marketing Team,” “Summer Retreat,” or “Q3 Planning.”
4

Add a description

Write a short description so your team members know what this space is about. This is optional but helpful.Caption: The space creation modal with name and description fields filled in
5

Choose visibility

Decide whether this space should be Private (only members can see it) or Public (visible to anyone with a link).
6

Save your space

Click Save and your space is created! You’ll be taken to the space detail page where you can start adding content.

Creating a sub-space

Want to organize things further? You can create a sub-space inside any existing space.
1

Open the parent space

Navigate to the space you want to add a sub-space to.
2

Find the Sub-Spaces section

Scroll down to the Sub-Spaces section on the space detail page.
3

Click Create Sub-Space

Fill in the name and description, just like creating a regular space. The sub-space will be nested inside the parent.
Sub-spaces are great for breaking down large projects. For example, a “Conference 2026” space could have sub-spaces for “Speakers,” “Logistics,” and “Marketing.”

What to do after creating a space

Now that your space exists, you can start filling it up:

Add members

Invite people to your space so they can see and contribute to it.

Use the Bundle Builder

Curate your space’s content — link events, attach documents, and organize everything.
